Thinking about designing or ordering swag for your department or organization?
Great! Brand merchandise is a great way to show Davidson pride.
These guidelines ensure that all merchandise reflects the brand consistently, professionally, and in line with our visual identity standards. They should be used by internal teams, vendors, and partners when creating or producing swag.
Key Reminders:
Use these four steps to design impactful merch on behalf of your office or department:
- Use the primary Davidson College logo first.
This is our strongest and most recognizable mark. - Secondary marks like the Wildcat or DC monogram can be used.
Only when paired with the Davidson College wordmark. They should never appear on their own. - Please refrain from creating your own logo when designing merchandise.
The primary lockup must be proper distance from all graphics and words. The height of the “DC monogram” in the primary logo can be used as a quick clear space reference for space around the logo. - Creativity is encouraged!
As long as you are following the brand guidelines.
Is there something I can reference if I forget?
Of course! Check out our logo usage quick guide located in the marketing toolbox to reference.
Is there a place on campus to get swag made?
Yes! Post & Print has a new flatbed printer that allows them to do amazing high-resolution printing on solid items like golf balls, frames, portfolios, and more. Contact Liz Robinson (lirobinson@davidson.edu) for more information.
