Submitting a Departmental News Story

Departments may submit news stories to be posted within the news section of their landing pages. 

To submit a department news story, please follow these steps:

  1. Use the guidelines and suggestions in How to Write a News Story.
  2. Be sure your pieces incorporates web best practices in Writing for the Web.
  3. Submit at least one accompanying image; refer to Digital Photography Standards. Images must be submitted as separate attachments from the text of the news story in email requests.
  4. Email your submissions (Google Doc or Word Doc for copy, and JPEG images) to

College Communications may edit and/or adapt your news story for posting to the web.
